I'd love to have a Tundra Double Cab, but they're just a bit out of the ol' price range (like, about double the ol' price range). I have driven one, and I was quite impressed with how they drove, the power, the overall layout, and the comfort of the cab. I especially like how the rear window rolls down, instead of having a stupid slider that only opens 1/3 of the way and blocks your vision all the time.

Oh, by the way, welcome aboard.

I'd say more of the outspoken folks here are Ford truck guys... but don't let that stop you. I say bring on more non Ford guys and change the tides! I love all trucks in general, including Toyota, Ford, GM, Nissan, etc...

Welcome to the site--tell your friends to sign up and put all the Ford guys in their place! :)

Hey, every one says the Tundra is $$$$, but don't you end up saving overtime by not paying your mechanic a fortune. The Tundra does sound interesting but I still think it's for the urban guy where a big day is pickin' up a 2x4 and a pack of nails. ha

As a Ford guy around here I'd like to point out how many times in this thread we've collectively said it doesn't matter what you drive (why would I care?).

And as to your comment about "a jap truck" - um, the Tundra is build in Princeton, Indiana. So, how does that make it a "jap truck"?

...maybe I ought to start referring to my Ford as a "cannuck truck"?
