I just recently reran power wire to my amp. I used the 4704 strand Kicker power wire with an inline 150 amp fuse and Street Wire terminal/connections. Never realized how much just the power wire/connections add up, lol. I did notice that my headlight don't blink with the bass and the amp doesn't get that hot anymore with the bigger wire though. I was also very suprised how flexible this wire was, it was just as flexible as the 4ga I had before.

is 0 ga much more expensive to run than 4 ga? I may consider doing this as well.

I didn't think it would be that much more, but it runs around $4-$8 a foot and then they get you on the connectors too since most normal ones are made for 4ga, you will need special high end ones :-(. But then you never have to worry about needing bigger wire, lol

I have some 1/0 wire laying on my desk. I was considering running it in my truck just for fun until I saw the prices of the connectors. I decided to just run 4ga until I can afford 4/0.

FYI, I wired my house while my parents and I were building it, and we only used 3/0 wire to run the ENTIRE HOUSE from the meter.

Higher the voltage the lower the amp draw. We are also talking about 220/240v AC over 12v DC.

I'd do mine, but the amps aren't 3 feet away from the battery, haha, rear battery in the van, but I may upgrade the feed wire from up front to a 4 gauge to charge quicker, but in 4 years, I've had no problems.
Looks great, kind of funny with all the wires on the battery, ever thought about getting a junction block?
