| If you have a lower console, I'd suggest making a custom panel in the area where the junk bin is (up near the front, in front of the armrest and cupholders). Or, if you don't have a console, then making a panel and some sort of pod to put it on for that area would be good.
That's how it is on Kevin's Godzilla Expedition. Seems to work out pretty well - he has a ton of switches.

| If you have an aftermarket radio you could fab a panel over the pocket and put them there.

| | Relocate your 12v outlets and put all the switches under that door thingy. It'll be a tight fit, depending on the size of the switches, but you wouldn't be able to see them when the door is closed. | |

| Hiya Christine!
Another place, although it's a bit low, is the black plastic area resting on the tranny hump. I've seen quite a few people install rows of switches there.
Or...
in the overhead console... | |

| | Do you have the little cubby hole in your dash just down to the right of the steering wheel? Make a little face plate for it out of plastic, and mount your switches and buttons to that...I saw somebody did a writeup on FTW about doing this...I will try to find it for you. | |

| I like the overhead console idea, but I'm not sure I'm up to running wires up thru my a-pillars and under my head liner. Sawblade, what is the remote you're talking about? I have a remote for my stereo and I love it. You mean there's something for lights, etc.? | |
