I have a 93 F250 diesel with a 5 speed. This morning I go out to go to work and I can't get the truck into gear. With the truck off I can go through the tranny just fine but with it running I can't go into any gear. If I start the truck in gear I can stay in that gear but if I pull it out I can't go into it or any other. I am thinking that its clutch related but not really sure what. My first guess is master or slave or both. Any suggestions? The truck has 348,000 miles and the clutch was done at 280,000 but by a previous owner and I don't know who or what all was done to it.

Try starting the truck in first gear with the brake off. If it pulls forward, then it's probably the slave cylinder going out.

What he said ^^^ Also before you start tearing it out try putting some fluid in it and bleed it.
BTW Jason, I will have a 7.3 out of our 84 International Cabover for sale with the Allison Automatic as soon as we get the compressor off of it, it has about 25K on the motor (actually the whole damn truck is going, you can drive it home).

Good tip on adding the fluid, I've seen that before.
