I have a kenwood head unit..don't know the model number off the top of my head and their website isn't working...but i can't access the equilizer setting. When i change the bass/mid/treb settings it affects both the subs and door speakers.

How can i fix this even though i follow the manual on how to get to the equilizer and it WONT work?

Id call a Kenwood service man and ask him. Its possible that Kenwood might also have a customer service number you could try.

So, it's been a while now - were you able to get it working?

Sounds like it needs service. Did you try googling the model # for common problems?
