This is the coolest thing I've seen in a while (as far as radar detectors are concerned)

yeah, the valentine radar detectors have always been directional, don't think they have always looked as good but they have had the arrows for years...

That is cool. If you have a BMW you can also feed the BMW's instrument cluster display from a V1 (with the proper cable).

That is pretty cool, but you STILL need a valentine one for that to work. Your talking at the price of the mirror plus a valentine one almost 1000 dollars for a radar detector...

I'll pass and stick with my hard wired radar detector that I mounted by the rear view mirror.

Ive been using my Valentine one for two years now and its fantastic. Ive more than paid for it ten times over for the tickets I would have gotten. I use it when traveling to distant shows. I got saved 12 times going to Knoxville Tenn and back for the Supernationals.

It not only gives you directions but tells you how many guns are pointing at you. Ive has as many as three at one time.
and was able to locate all three as I approached. I dont leave home without it.

The mirror deal is cool but I have a custom mirror and I can dissasemble mine in 4 seconds in case Im pulled over.

That's cool!
I've been in a couple vehicles where we got pulled over and you have to rip everything down before the CHP pulls you over. Even if they just drive by.

If you had an Iroc Camaro all you would need to do is keep it waxed.

You know, they wax the Stealth bomber every day...that's why radar can't pick it up...

There are very few places where any kind of radar detector are illegal. I wonder why they removed the auction?

I agree Greez, with detectors being illegal here in VA, and considering that they employ "radar detector-detectors" I think it's pretty important that you be able to yank her down and stow her away in a hurry... the 'portability' also saves me from having to invest in one for each of my three vehicals

Yeah I can get mine stowed away in about 10 seconds or faster than the cop can stop me.

But its worked so well I havent been stopped yet.
