... I don't wash all my vehicles the same way.

I wash the Ranger, Explorer, and Carins Escape with a brush-on-a-stick (Good quality)

Now until recently, I washed everything the same... High quality wash mitt, seperate scrubbers for the wheels and tires, etc. Seperate bucket from the F150 wash kit, but everything else the same.

The other day I washed the Ranger with a brush-on-a-stick, and damn... I was able to get in and out in less than 30 minutes (normally takes me close to an hour). Looked good too!

I've since washed the other two cars with it, and they too look good. I'm not looking back on this, I enjoyed washing their cars quick and easy.

Anyways, do I tell the wife and daughter I'm discriminating on their cars...?

Sure, and if they have a problem with you washing all the vehicles, show them where the bucket is

Um, I'm a big girl and can wash and wax my own truck. Why can't the wife and daughter do it themselves? My girls know how.

Maybe just leave things as they are-on the other hand, if they find out and don't approve, then they can do it themselves so it's done right.

I wash my work truck with a brush. I also "clean" it with a scraper, a hammer, and concrete-disolving acid.

But the cars only get a mitt.

Will my truck fit? I'll come down there...I want to see your stang anyway

...but I always use a brush as well. I make sure to rinse the truck really good first and also rinse out the brush after each body panel washed so no dirt settles in the bristles.

I've been doing that for 20+ years...

as long as you use a quality brush, plenty of water, good suds, exercise care so you don't bang the side of the brush against the finish, use a differant brush for the wheels and serious grunge, you will easily cut your wash time in half.

Oh jeez... I don't think we ought to go there. I've heard the rumors about 'youz guyz'.

By the way - I have one of those brushes that hasn't been touched since the truck got traded in. If anyone local wants it - come get it - I can reach across the Toy without a problem!

LOL and I thought I would never get to use this again

BTW, I too use a brush on a stick. Never touches wheels, tires etc.
