Greetings Truck Enthusiasts,
We at Greg Rinaldi's Shows are in the process of promoting the 2006 Jersey Truck Fest event. We would like some input on some ideas we have. Please read and email us back with your thoughts.
1. The Jersey Truck Fest 2006 dates will be June 17-18. The 18th is fathers day. Would this be a conflict? 2. An idea for new show classes. Instead of placing people in classes and having to park people away from friends. We have come up with a great idea. Here is an example.
Catagories: A. 4wd Show truck Top 65 winners B. 2wd Show truck Top 65 winners C. Offroad/mud/rock Top 25 winners D. Classic Top 15 winners E. Daily Driver 4wd Top 65 winners F. Daily Driver 2wd Top 65 winners and few other catagories.
This we believe works out better then classes. Why?. Alot of classes have trucks that win only because there are less trucks in class. Some classes could use extra winner places cause there are so many trucks. This type of setup allows all trucks with high points to win. We are offering 300 trophies through a break down of catagories. We offer more trophies then Carlisle or Bloomsberg(mega shows). Both shows offer close to or under 200 trophies for over 1500 trucks. We feel our way is a win win deal. This is not in stone yet but we feel because of the better point system and the fact you can park with friends, will make this a even better show.

I got this e-mail also here's my reply:
Fathers Day road trip not a good idea! Too many Dad's out there family comes first! How about June 24 to 25th weekend? Less going on for most. The truck classes, as a past show promoter, this would make your job a lot easier, but would not tell in the eye of the judges or participants who has the best trucks. Tough call though
