I have a CrimeStopper alarm, remote start, remote windows. The guy that installed it can't figure out why when you hit the windows, if the truck has been off for a few minutes, the driver side window will not function with the remote. The other 3 windows go up and down no problem. The driver side only operates if the truck is running or was recently running by like a minute or so.

Any ideas?

Gosh .......cant help you. I have a remote start but none of my windows are linked into the alarm system. I just keep my windows up all the time so its not an issue.

He says its something with a power suppression or something in the door. Either that or something in the anti-theft. Who knows. Hopefully he will find out something. I'd like to get it working correctly soon is possible.

Does it have an autoarm feature on it? 2kbeast over on ftw has his stock alarm on his 350 with the autoarm and it sucks ass. If you turn the truck off it automatically sets the alarm, doors locked or not. You might want to check the lines directly to that door and see if it's still connected to any of the original wiring harness of the factory stuff.

Thanks. I'll talk to my installer about it. I have been busy and haven't gotten back with him yet to see what he has found out either.
