Hey everybody......yes I'm still here in the shadows checkin in now and then to see whats up on the site. I have not been much into posting as of late because ....well....I have way to much crap on my plate. Most of you know that Christina and I bought a house in La Conner Wa. last Sept. and have been busy making changes to suit our style. I also have been busy doing a complete make over on BMW 325si ( swapping in a 5.0 SVO engine and Tremac 5 spd. plus all the body mods I can muster. Lets see ....our youngest is still in Air Force wrenchin on F18 jet engines (proud papa ) She'll be here this weekend with her new boyfriend ....snagged a sargent! The shop is starting to pick up again after letting go of all our employees because of hard times, thank God I know what I know about streetrods because the owner would have to shut the doors if I left....it's good to be the head wrench. Some bad news also I'm afraid...I just got off the phone with my little brother Patrick , you all know that my other brother Michael past away a while back, he was the one I built NEMESIS in memory of.Well Patrick has just come back from Fred Hutchins Cancer center and found out that he has a number of cancer areas in his body including his brain....it don't look good....he tells me that the docs said he has maybe 4-6 months on his clock , maybe more if he takes certain precautions and treatments. I really was dumb struck and still am having a hard time grasping that I may lose my last brother. So here I am cruising the net with my thoughts and could not help but to stop by my old haunt and share my feelings with some of my old internet buddies. I guess I'm asking for some prayers for my little brother....I know every little thing helps somehow. I know this is not the typical happy smart ass post that you usually expect from me but then I know you guys all understand.
Hope all is good with you guys and if my life ever gets back on track again you will be seeing more of me now and again. Thanks for listening........Rick

Thanks for all your thoughts everybody. Pats keeping his focus on beating this no matter what and keeps a smile on his face. Me and his friends got his little fishing boat back in the water last nite so he could go crabing and fishing up here in the San Jauns (one of his favorite things to do).Christina and I spent the day with our youngest daughter Rachel who is here visiting from her Air Force base in Cali. She's up here with her boyfriend and we just got back from the Shoreline vintage VW show where she came home with a second place trophy for her 54 Oval window bug we built together.....following in the old mans foot steps. Any way thanks agin for all your support for Patrick ......my family really appreciates it....I'll keep you all posted.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about that, Rick. Kinda puts all of life's little stresses in perspective, huh? Just remember, you've got brothers here, just not related by blood.
