Don't you hate it when you are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on your way to work and there's some no talent ass clown blasting his stereo so loud even the dead can hear it? Plus they are rapping words such as "I got this killa up inside of me...I can't talk to my mother so I talk to my diary". That incident happens to be one of my favorite scenes from the movie, "Office Space". If you have not seen it, click here for the YouTube link.
An alternative idea for dealing with the situation is to throw a brick at their window check out the list of last week's blogs at www.Truckblog.com via your new Apple iPhone 3G you desperately waited in line all day for over the weekend, or watch our latest Truckblog.TV video on iTunes from your laptop while stuck in traffic. Summer California Truck Jamboree Plus (Cars, Trucks, HotRods, Off Road, and Motorcycles) July 29, 2007 - Irvine CA... "Celebrating 20 Years of California Truck Jamboree" We have opened our doors to all types of vehicles, as our Spring show was all trucks. People have asked for an all vehicle event and they have delivered!
What are you doing this Sunday, May 6th? If you're in SoCal, you better be in Irvine, at the biggest, baddest truck show on the west coast! The Spring California Truck Jamboree kicks off the 2007 show season in a big way, with the west coast's finest trucks and SUVs representin'. This is no sleeper show, either. For starters, there's the burnout contest, the monster truck car crush courtesy of Shocker, an air hop contest featuring about a half a dozen trucks, and live music by Limelife.
Sure, it's not even 2007, and granted winter just began, but it's never too early to start thinking about the next big shows of 2007. As a proud sponsor of the Truck Jamboree shows, we're happy to start hyping this show as early as possible. So mark your calendars for Sunday May 6th, 2007. This is the 20th year of Truck Jam, so you can bet there are going to be some big things. Thanks to our pal Pierre, here's some of the official information about the show...
What takes place this Saturday, involves sparks, massive burnouts and jumping trucks? It's the California Jamboree After Dark show and cruise in Long Beach, California. As if hosting two major SoCal truck shows this past year wasn't enough (Spring TruckJam and Summer TruckJam), show promoter Pierre Hoffmann has added a third this year. And this show is a brand new concept, generating a lot of buzz all over Southern California.
If you've been following along over the past few weeks, Truckblog was all over the 2006 Spring Truck Jamboree in SoCal, as proven by the multitude of photos and videos posted. With the most recent video posted late last night (thanks again, Jason!), our coverage of this huge show is now complete. Let's review:
Look, we admit we aren't just all about trucks, the aftermarket, and performance. Every now and then we like to sit back, grab an icy cold one and enjoy the scenery. What's a truck show without the ladies, wearing next to nothing? Why not put 'em on stage and let them show us their aftermarket accessories? Thanks to another great one from Jason, our video guy, for cranking out another tough assignment. Thanks to Pierre at the California Truck Jamboree for hooking us up.
Last week we posted some new videos from the 2006 Truck Jamboree in SoCal. Our video guy was hard at work over the long Memorial Day weekend to crank out another one for us. The Extreme Air Hopping video is now online fo' yo view'n pleasure.
Note: Video homey put in some Snoop Dizzle s-to-tha-izzong that contains some fizzoul language (tisk, tisk!) so if you're viewing in the office you might want to put your volume on the down-low, yo.
Truckblog doesn't mess around when it comes to the big shows. For one of the biggest in SoCal, the Toyo Tires Summer Truck Jamboree, we sent three Truckblog photographers to cover the event. Thanks to Lynn Guthrie, Jason Coe and Jason Gillmore, we have a few hundred photos of trucks, chicks, and the events to keep you plenty busy this weekend.
Unfortunately due to a fire that broke out in the early afternoon, they missed the bikini contest... but there were still plenty of showgirls captured on film. We're also working on a video of the event, so check back soon!
We just got over all the hot rides and babes at the Spring California Truck Jamboree last month and we can't wait for the next one.
Yesterday was the first day of summer, so why not have another show? Thankfully the summer show season is just starting and the "big one" (as far as California is concerned) is right around the corner.

Take a look at our photo gallery for over 100 photos of the event, featuring hot babes and some of the hottest lifted and slammed rides in all of Southern California!
If you haven't attended a Texas truck show your answer will be no!
Now that we have upgraded our site to faster machine, completely migrated the code, and worked out most of the kinks with the gallery, we can turn our attention to the up and coming show season!
