2010 Lincoln Mark LT Pickup Heading To Mexico
Comments | Permalink | 26,398 Views

Despite all of the negative events occurring in Mexico, the 2010 Lincoln Mark LT pickup truck is now only available in Mexico. Lincoln spokesperson Mark Schirmer commented, saying "The Lincoln Mark LT has been Lincoln's best-selling vehicle in Mexico" and "The Mark LT has sold almost 6,000 units in Mexico since its launch in 2005. In the U.S., the Mark LT only accounted for around 5% of total sales on average". Looks like fans of the Mark LT will have to look south to pick up their truck, although personally here at Truckblog, we're not fans.

More in: Spy Photos | Comments | Permalink | 18,350 Views

Although Lincoln have discontinued the Mark LT pickup truck for 2009, the company is still developing the next generation version based off of the 2009 Ford F-150. In the spyshot seen here, the new Mark LT is built off of the 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum edition and doesn't feature anything unique other than a large (and quite ugly) grille spliced between the F-150's new head lights and some different badges. Anyone interested in the next generation Lincoln Mark LT can pick one up outside the states in Mexico, where demand is quite high for the luxury pickup truck.

First and foremost, we at Truckblog hope you all had a great holiday weekend and are now back online to stay logged to the blog!

When you entered the "pit of doom" this morning, also known as your office, cubical or workplace, did you experience an annoying electromagnetic shock from the metal door handle just like Peter Gibbons endured in "Office Space"? If that is the case, well that sucks for you. Maybe you need to not shuffle your feet as much on the carpet. But getting zapped by the door handle is not nearly as bad as the $9 million dollars that was awarded to American Axle's CEO last week or the new laws that ban cell phone usage while driving in California and Washington or the fact that I had to compose a list of 15 hypermiling tricks for your pickup truck to help you save gas because the price of fuel is too high to make ends meet. To solve that problem, check out the MyGallons gas card along with the slew of other blogs from last week.

Modifying your Ford or Chevy to sport the Lincoln or Cadillac front clips is one of the hottest and trickest looking mods you can do right now. SUV Concepts is making it easy for you with the newest addition to their product line, the 2003 Lincoln Navigator Conversion Kit.

This kit contains both factory Lincoln parts and high quality aftermarket parts made to manufacturer specifications, including the front bumper, bumper grille, fenders, grille, headlights, headlight support, fog lights, hood, hood latch system, brackets and hardware. You can also substitute a high quality carbon fiber hood from VIS Racing Sports in place of the stock hood. Also available with this kit is an option for the factory Lincoln HID headlights.

The kit also includes everything needed for the swap and bolts on with no welding or fill modifications necessary. Headlight supports require mounting hole realignment and some minor electrical wiring modifications are necessary for the headlights to operate.

Now, we can't find SUV Concepts' web site where they say it is (http://www.suvconcepts.com) but if you are interested you can call them at (909) 596-7322, tell them Jim & Jake at Truckblog sent you!
