Are You A Straight Shooter With Upper Management Written All Over Yourself?
Success in the work place can sometimes be hard to achieve, especially if you are not a straight shooter with your boss. Bob Slydell of "Office Space" tells us how you can become part of the "upper management" if you are like Peter Gibbons, "I'd like to move us right along to a Peter Gibbons. Now we had a chance to meet this young man, and boy that's just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him". So the question of the morning is, "are you a straight shooter with upper management written all over yourself"?

One thing is for sure, success in the work place can definitely be achieved by checking out our blogs from last week- I guarantee it. Oh by the way, did you get the memo that Truckblog.TV is now called MOTORZ?

Monday Morning Roundup: Can't Talk To My Mother So I Talk To My Diary
Don't you hate it when you are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on your way to work and there's some no talent ass clown blasting his stereo so loud even the dead can hear it? Plus they are rapping words such as "I got this killa up inside of me...I can't talk to my mother so I talk to my diary". That incident happens to be one of my favorite scenes from the movie, "Office Space". If you have not seen it, click here for the YouTube link.

An alternative idea for dealing with the situation is to throw a brick at their window check out the list of last week's blogs at www.Truckblog.com via your new Apple iPhone 3G you desperately waited in line all day for over the weekend, or watch our latest Truckblog.TV video on iTunes from your laptop while stuck in traffic. Get Zapped This Morning? Read This
First and foremost, we at Truckblog hope you all had a great holiday weekend and are now back online to stay logged to the blog!

When you entered the "pit of doom" this morning, also known as your office, cubical or workplace, did you experience an annoying electromagnetic shock from the metal door handle just like Peter Gibbons endured in "Office Space"? If that is the case, well that sucks for you. Maybe you need to not shuffle your feet as much on the carpet. But getting zapped by the door handle is not nearly as bad as the $9 million dollars that was awarded to American Axle's CEO last week or the new laws that ban cell phone usage while driving in California and Washington or the fact that I had to compose a list of 15 hypermiling tricks for your pickup truck to help you save gas because the price of fuel is too high to make ends meet. To solve that problem, check out the MyGallons gas card along with the slew of other blogs from last week.

Get Stuck In Bumper To Bumper Traffic?
Did you get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic this morning like Peter Gibbons does in "Office Space"? You slide on over to the fast lane just in the nick of time for it to slow down and the lane you were in then speeds ahead. This stop and go traffic completely destroys the fuel efficiency of your vehicle, causing you to get worse gas mileage. Our top blog from last week, Fuel Saving Tips Revisited, Save Dollars And Cents Using These Techniques, can be used as a guide to help your vehicle become more fuel efficient and save you money at the pump. And while you are scrolling, take some time to check out our other top articles from last week. We all know how many minutes of actual work are done anyway, right?.

Hey Peter! Check Out Channel 9, Check Out... Truckblog.TV!
Remember the scene in "Office Space" where Peter Gibbons had just got off from work at his apartment, grabs a beer and sits on his couch, then turns on the television? If you don't, his good-ole neighbor, Lawrence, then decides to scream at him through their apartment complex wall to notify Peter of the breast exam infomercial on channel 9. Well, your mission today is to check out our recent episode on Truckblog.TV, as well as read our blogs from last week. Knowledge is power!

How Many Minutes Of Actual Work Do You Do?
The question this morning is the same that was asked of Peter Gibbons by the Bob twins in "Office Space". "We're trying to get a feel for how people spend their day at work...so, if you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you?". Peter then responds "Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work". Given you are reading this blog right now and happen to not be working at the moment, go ahead and check out our blogs from last week. Then during that hour after lunch ask yourself, how many minutes of actual work do I do?

Has Your Desk Been Relocated Four Times Already This Year? If So, Read This
Have you threatened to quit your job because your desk has been relocated four times already this year? Just like Milton had experienced in "Office Space"? "I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry..." If you find yourself living your life at work just like Peter Gibbons does in the movie "Office Space", and also have the following opinion: "We weren't meant to spend it this way. Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements", then stop what you're doing, and take a couple minutes to read through our blogs from last week.

Hummer H3T Pickup Truck Put To The Test
More in: Engine, Exterior, Hummer, New Products, Off-Road, Performance | Comments | Permalink | 65,998 Views

Mike Levine over at Pickuptruck has been busy once again, this time posting a review of the new Hummer H3T pickup truck. Did the H3T's 5.3 liter V8 engine leave a big enough foot print out on the trails, where true Hummers are tested? Check out the results so far, via this link.

Giving props to DiamondBack, the new Hummer H3T is sporting a HUMMER-branded DiamondBack tonneau cover. This one of a kind H3T cover will be available directly through Hummer dealers when this vehicle is launched in late August, early September. It will also be available through many aftermarket sources and you can choose from the traditional diamond plate style or a new LINE-X XTRA option shown in the pictures.
