Jeep expands Liberty recall
A while back Chysler announced a recall for the 2004 and 2005 Jeep Liberty models due to rear lower control arms rusting and corroding at an accelerated rate. Now they have also added the 2006 and 2007 Liberty to the recall list.
Chrysler will replace the affected vehicles rear lower control arms at no cost to the owner, and will reimburse Liberty owners who have already paid to have the work done. If you have any questions at all regarding this recall, or to see if your 2004 through 2007 Jeep Liberty falls under this recall notice, please contact your nearest Jeep/Chrysler dealer and they will be able to give you up to date information.
