Every year studies are released from all of the major automobile quality and safety review giants. This year Ram truck owners have to be shaking their heads a bit with their most recent news.
The Ram pickup was listed as the worst in safety by several institutions. The tests usually deal with crash test ratings, side impact ratings, quality problems and owner complaints. Despite all of this bad news the Ram pickup has continued to gain in popularity, and sales have seen a steady climb. If the powers that be at Ram can address these safety concerns properly and continue the popularity trend they just may be able to really give GM and Ford a run for their money in the coming years.
