Ford recalls 2011-2012 F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator
Well it seems the recall a week trend just keeps going strong. This time Ford Motor Company has issued a recall for a large number of 2011 through 2012 F-150 pickups, Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators. The issue at hand is a faulty transmission range sensor or TRS.
The faulty sensor is causing the ‘R’ on the dashboard not to light up when reverse is engaged. It is also causing the backup lights to not come on when reverse is engaged which could result in injury or a crash due to a safety issue. Ford is notifying the affected owners and will schedule a repair at the nearest Ford dealership. If you have any questions about this issue please call your nearest Ford dealer.
