Ford F Series sees substantial sales increases for 2012

[ 2 ] March 15, 2012 |

It appears that the folks in the Ford truck division are doing something right. the Ford F series pickup has continued its increasing sales trend into February, with all signs pointing to continued strong sales growth.

Ford reports that it sold 47,273 F series trucks in February 2012, up almost 26% over February 2011. More than half of those sales are V-6 models, with almost 45% of those being the new twin turbo powered eco-boost models. Ford stated last year that they believed they had a definite winner on their hands with the eco-boost F-150, and have proven themselves dead on with that prediction. After strong showings at all the recent auto shows, improved customer perception, and now strong increases in sales numbers, Ford has no where to go but up. Now we will have to keep an eye on them to see if they can maintain this focus and stay strong in this economic roller coaster.
