It seems they always come in groups. Recall notices this year started out slowly, but unfortunately seem to be picking up steam now. The latest on the list of recalls is the 2011 Toyota RAV4.
The recall centers around 2011 RAV4 models manufactured between November 24, 2011 through December 19, 2011. The reason for the recall is a possible problem with the side curtain airbag failing to deploy after a crash due to an incorrectly manufactured inflation module. Toyota will of course replace the defective module free of charge. Thankfully, the number of vehicles affected is only 427. If you have any questions relating to this issue, please call Toyota at 1-800-331-4331 or contact your local Toyota dealer.
