Chinese knock offs now include the Ford F-150
Well, well, well… from the country that brought you the HiPhone 5, Gooapple phone, CUGGI purses and the Borio cookie comes an all new knock off! Chinese auto maker Jianghuai Auto Corporation has just unveiled their latest truck, the 4R3 pickup and it seems to be an exact copy of Ford’s best selling F-150.
From the shape of the tail lights, headlights, body and grill, all the way down to the blue oval with JAC instead of FORD, this thing is a near perfect copy. Supposedly it will be on sale in China, South America, and Africa. It is slated to make its appearance at the Beijing Motor Show, where I imagine it will be beaten to death by brief case wielding lawyers from Detroit and a special ops assault led by Mike Rowe and Denis Leary. The 4R3 will supposedly be powered by a 2.8L four cylinder diesel giving it 177 ft. lbs of torque and 108 HP. Just enough power to haul a truck bed full of CUGGI purses filled with delicious BORIO cookies while you talk on your Gooapple phone 5GS.
