2013 Ford Escape initial pricing released
The 2013 Escape has a TON of changes. New styling, new engines, new infotainment setup, etc. However, one of the most startling changes is that it might actually end up being cheaper than its predecessor.
At Ford’s ‘Build your own Escape’ site it shows the pricing breakdown as follows: The S model starts at $22,720, the SE at $25,320, the SEL at $28,120 and the Titanium at $30,620. Those prices exclude dealer handling and destination charges but are still less than previous models. You will also notice that there is no longer an Escape Hybrid edition. The new engine offerings for the 2013 Escape actually provide better fuel mileage than the previous hybrid models, so Ford has decided not to offer an Escape Hybrid edition for 2013.
