Jeep Wrangler demand growing, folks in Toledo very happy
Well, it looks like the folks at Chrysler/Fiat have something to be quite happy about. The demand for the Jeep Wrangler since 2010 has been on a very large upswing.
Demand for the Wrangler grew to almost 122,500 units in 2011 which is a sales increase of almost 30% for 2011 over 2010. Demand has been so high in fact that the plant in Toledo, Ohio is running 20 hours a day six days a week just to keep up with the orders. There are rumors of increasing the work force at the plant by 50-60 workers in 2012. It will be interesting to see if Jeep can keep these sales numbers going through the new year. Could the days of the four wheeler fun weekend be making a comeback? Lets hope so!
