2012 Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain recalled
General Motors has issued a recall for all 2012 Chevrolet Equinox and 2012 GMC Terrain SUVs. According to reports the vehicles tire pressure monitoring systems are at fault.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the tire pressure monitoring systems in the Equinox and Terrain do not alert drivers when the tire pressure is below 25% of the recommended cold tire pressure. The recall includes Equinoxes and Terrains produced between July 2011 and September 2011. At last count there are 33,964 vehicles affected by this problem.
