Raptor frame issues?
A post on RaptorForumz.com has received some attention due to reports that the rear frame on Raptors is apparently causing the bed to become misaligned after some off road action. Apparently 14 trucks gathered and went for some off-roading and in the end only 4 of the trucks did not show the same signs of being tweaked that the others did.
With Ford having marketed the Raptor as a versatile off-road truck equipped with all the necessary parts to handle tough terrain we’re wondering what the issue is ourselves. It is thought that with the rear of the frame not being boxes like the front, it is proving to be a weak spot and is partial to stress under heavy suspension travel.
This issue hasn’t hit the mainstream yet, but it will be interesting to see if Ford has an official statement on this potentially huge issue.
