Callaway is developing a Silverado
You may have heard the Callaway name before, but it is usually associated with Corvettes. Now the high performance vehicle maker has turned its sights to the Silverado full size truck. While they’re still in the development stages, they have said that it looks like the 6.2L V8 will be the power plant, even though they are investigating some of the other small displacement engines.
While Ford and Dodge Ram have both had their high performance sport trucks, Chevy hasn’t really had a formidable contender in the high-performance sector since the 454SS in the 90’s. Regardless of how this truck turns out, it should be interesting given Callaway’s previous Camaro and Corvette projects.
