Chrysler Recalls 2010 models
Chrysler 300 Sedans, Dodge Challengers, Chargers, and Ram’s, Jeep Commanders and Grand Cherokees have been recalled, some 40,000 of them due to an issue with the ignition module that may allow for the removal of the ignition key before the vehicle has been secured in the park position.
While this doesn’t sound very serious, just imagine if you spaced out and forgot to put your pride and joy in park, took the key out, locked it up and while you were away it decided to roll forward and nail a parked car, or worse, a pedestrian. Not good.
Chrysler dealers will be initiating recall procedures on these models and will be notifying owners so the modules can be replaced.
