Action Mobil Globecruiser Camper Could Kill Optimus Prime
Gizmodo found this gem on the internet called the “Globecruiser” from Action Mobil, the most bad ass camper existing on this planet today that would could possibly kill Optimus Prime himself. Built off a MAN TGA 6×6 platform and powered by a behemoth 783 cubic inch turbo diesel motor that pumps out 388 kilowatts, the Globecruiser has two fuel tanks which hold up to 219 gallons of fuel, 154 gallons of water capacity, that all weigh in the battle cruiser at 21 tons. It also features four, 240 watt solar panels which power the batteries and LPG tanks, satellite navigation systems and on board controls. The driver and passenger seats ride on air suspension that’s heated, along with a fine luxury interior.
The cost for this awesome, 4×4 tearing, go-anywhere-you-want-to-go camper, will set you back a little over $670,000 USD. That is of course on top of the $800 worth of diesel fuel it consumes. I would say the half a million dollar price tag is not bad for something this bad ass, in comparison to a Prevost motor home which can exceed $2 million easily. Plus, you can’t drive a bus on the beach.
