Installation Steps

The first part of installing the strobe lights is determining where you want to mount the strobes themselves. We opted for the lower half of our tail lights and the corner amber areas of Project Truckblog’s headlights. Once you’ve located where you will mount the strobe, use a drill bit to cut a small hole but big enough to mount the strobe.

Then, mount the strobe by pushing it in past its grommit. Do this for all desired strobe locations. For our headlight housings, we decided to take out the stock amber light bulb and use its location for the strobe. No drilling was needed.

Next, run the wiring cables from your installed locations to the area where you want to mount the system’s brain. We chose to install the brain behind the dash. We also ran our wiring down the frame rails near the cab and secured them with zip ties.

Finally, plug the wires you ran into the brain assembly, hook up your power lead from the brain to the battery, locate your toggle switch location and you’re done!
