New List Of Midsize SUV Crash Test Ratings Are In
In an article by USA Today, the 2009 Nissan Murano performed the best out of 9 SUV’s, in new crash tests of mid-size SUV’s, released by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. On the bottom of the pile were the Hummer H3, Jeep Liberty, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Wrangler, Suzuki XL7, Mazda CX-7, Mazda CX-9 and Suzuki XL7. The new test by the institute said that the standard electronic stability control and good front, side and rear crash tests for the redesigned Murano helped it win the highest ratings. General Motors has yet to comment on the Hummer H3′s “poor” rear crash test ratings.
