Motor Trend’s Truck Trend recently reviewed Toyo’s new OpenCountry M/T and here’s what they had to say.
“It used to be the only people who bought off-road tires were the ones putting them on their trail-built rigs. These tires were often noisy, had low load ratings, and were nearly impossible to drive on the freeway (some weren’t rated for speeds above 60 mph). Now, lifted truck owners who aren’t as interested in extreme off-roading want the rugged look of mud terrains and the ability to tow and drive on the freeway at speed. This has caused the market to change, and there are now numerous levels of off-road tires to choose from.”
